What You'll Do
The Part-Time Marketing Intern supports our marketing efforts with a focus on social media and website updates. You’ll create and publish content, help keep our website fresh and on-brand, and track performance to suggest improvements.
Key Responsibilities
· Create, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest; write captions aligned to our brand voice.
· Capture and edit photo/video content of displays, products, and completed projects.
· Assist with monthly content calendars; monitor trends, hashtags, and competitor activity.
· Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely, professional way.
· Support website updates (homepage/gallery/services/blog), including uploading and organizing project photos and descriptions.
· Help with basic SEO (keywords, meta descriptions, image alt text) and repurpose content between social and the website/blog.
· Track simple performance metrics (engagement, reach, website traffic if available) and share recommendations.
What You Need to Get the Job Done (Minimum Qualifications)
· A desire to learn and understand the business.
· Have, or working towards, a degree in marketing or related field.
· Strong writing skills and attention to detail; ability to follow a brand voice.
· Comfortable creating/editing content (photo/video) and using social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest).
· Basic familiarity with website updates and SEO concepts.
· Dependable, proactive, and able to manage projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
· Driver’s License and transportation required.
What Makes You Stand Out
· Portfolio or examples of social posts, short-form video, photography, or writing.
· Experience with Canva and/or Adobe tools.
· Interest in home design, remodeling, and/or the building industry.
