If you’ve ever been the person keeping a command aligned, balancing training, operations, resources, and reality, this is your role.
K2 is hiring a Training, Exercises & Employment Plan (TEEP) Manager to serve as the central integrator for a major Indo-Pacific command in Hawaii.
You will own the single source of truth for readiness, ensuring training, exercises, and operational commitments are synchronized, funded, and executable.
This is not a coordination role—it’s a command-level impact role with direct leadership visibility.
- You are the force synchronization authority
- You influence what gets prioritized, funded, and executed
- Your work directly impacts readiness across the Indo-Pacific
We’re not a traditional contractor.
- Native Hawaiian Organization reinvesting into the local community
- Small, high-trust team with real ownership
- Built for execution, not bureaucracy
If you want to be closer to mission and decision-making—not buried in layers—this is where you belong.
- Serve as the single source of truth for the TEEP program
- Build and maintain the master schedule across training, exercises, and operational commitments
- Lead synchronization events and planning forums with senior stakeholders
- Align service training, joint exercises, and real-world operational requirements
- Assign ownership across units and ensure execution stays on track
- Continuously validate feasibility with logistics and resource teams
- Own the TEEP budget and enforce fiscal discipline
- Track execution and validate funding requirements
- Deliver clear, leadership-ready updates on resourcing and tradeoffs
- Recommend priorities based on mission impact, readiness, and risk
- Provide leadership with clear options—not just status
- Drive continuous improvement through after-action insights
- Integrate external agencies and partners into planning efforts
- Support high-visibility community engagements aligned to mission priorities
- Hold an active TS clearance
- Have operated in command-level planning, training, or operations environments
- Can manage complexity across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Are trusted to brief senior leaders and influence decisions
- Prefer ownership and accountability over task execution
- 5 years in operations planning, training management, or program execution (DoD or similar)
- Strong background in budget/resource coordination and execution
- Proficiency with SharePoint, reporting systems, and planning tools
- Experience with JTIMS, C2IE, or equivalent systems
- Experience with joint/coalition exercises or force generation
- Familiarity with DoD budgeting and resource processes
- PMP or similar certification
- Background in large-scale exercise planning
$100K – $125K high-impact mission exposure (can reimburse up to $3K of relocation expenses)
- A synchronized, conflict-free TEEP that leadership trusts
- Clear visibility into readiness, risk, and commitments
- Strong fiscal discipline with measurable outcomes
- Continuous improvement driven by real lessons learned
