What are the responsibilities and job description for the Feed Bagger position at Kreamer Feed Inc?
Kreamer Feed is looking to hire feed baggers for their weekly dayshift operation. The shift will be Monday to Wednesday (5am-5:30pm) and every other Thursday at 5am-5:30pm.
Job Summary:
The Feed Baggers will operate an automated packing machine to prepare products for shipping.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Mixes and bags feed.
- Observes operation and speed of packing machine and adjusts when necessary.
- Ensures that adequate packing supplies are stocked in or near the packing machine.
- Clears jams and performs basic troubleshooting.
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciles with data storage system.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area, disposing of excess materials.
- Must be willing to be forklift certified.
