Krause's Candy has been serving the Capital District for over three decades. Our candy showroom is one of the largest in the country and is filled with a wide variety of delicious treats and gifts created on the premises. Our chocolates are shipped all over the country and we are recognized as one of the finest candy stores in the country.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary objective of the Customer Sales Associate is to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.

• Beautifully package boxes of chocolates and other confections
• Prepare orders
• Manage and organize inventory
• Prepare merchandising materials
• Maintain the appearance of the store
• Use computers including cash register and ordering system

JOB REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform all of the duties described in an efficient and competent manner.

• Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers
• Demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be punctual and dependable
• Be flexible with schedules especially during peak seasons
• Be able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment & adaptable to change
• Be comfortable using a computer
• Be energetic, dexterous, and efficient with all tasks

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with stocking and merchandising in a retail setting

SCHEDULE

Your schedule works around our store hours, listed below.

• Full Time: 40 hours per week ( Will include Saturday. Sunday will be a day off as well as one day during the week)

STORE HOURS

Monday-Friday: 10AM - 6PM

Saturday: 10AM - 5PM

Sunday: Closed
