Fine Jewelry Sales Associate (Part-Time) — 14K Inc., Hudson NY
About 14K Inc. 14K Inc. is a family-owned and operated jewelry store in Hudson, NY. Since 1988, we've specialized in custom jewelry design and expert repair, building lasting relationships with clients across the Hudson Valley. We are currently seeking a part-time Sales Associate to join our team.
The Role As a Sales Associate at 14K, you are the first point of contact for our clients. You'll guide customers through our showroom, assist with selections, take in repairs, and ensure every interaction reflects the quality and care our store is known for. While our owners and team handle the custom design work in-house, you will play a key role in the client experience that surrounds it.
This is a part-time position with strong potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, professional customer service on the sales floor
- Assist clients with jewelry selections and product questions
- Take in repairs and communicate options and pricing per company procedures
- Process sales and repair transactions accurately
- Maintain product knowledge and showroom presentation
- Perform opening and closing procedures
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service (jewelry experience a plus, not required)
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Willingness to learn
