About the Role
Spalon Montage is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions across our three locations. Reporting directly to the Owner and partnering closely with each General Manager, this position serves as the organization's HR expert and trusted advisor.
This is a true department-of-one role. You'll be responsible for both strategic leadership and hands-on execution of all HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, retirement plan oversight, compliance, performance management, HRIS administration, policy development, and offboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting and hiring for all positions.
- Oversee onboarding and new team member orientation.
- Administer employee benefits and retirement plan programs.
- Maintain HRIS systems and personnel records.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Guide managers through employee relations, performance management, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
- Support employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives.
- Manage employee separations, exit interviews, and offboarding processes.
- Evaluate and improve HR systems, processes, and programs to support organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Experience with recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management.
- Experience administering employee benefits and retirement plans.
- Experience working independently as a stand-alone HR professional preferred.
- Multi-location experience is a plus.
- Hospitality, wellness, spa, retail, or service industry experience preferred.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
