Job Description: As a Benefits Client Manager, you will be a key day-to-day service partner for large employer accounts, serving as a secondary point of contact and helping deliver exceptional client support across benefits administration, renewals, and carrier communication. In this role, you will support Account Executives and work closely with clients, carriers, and internal teams to address service needs, resolve issues, and help clients successfully navigate each phase of the annual benefits cycle.

Job Details:
Position Title: Client Manager
Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Position Location: Burnsville, MN
Pay Range: $26.00 to $33.00 per hour. Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and actively work toward agency goals and strategies
- Understand and actively round accounts by offering additional agency services
- Engage with clients and process daily customer service requests, such as communicating claims or portal issues with carriers, assisting client in answering employee questions on enrollment, id cards, qualifying events, and working with team to research compliance questions
- Process marketing and renewal activities as directed
- Follow workflows for Renewal Process, Open Enrollment Process, New Business Process, and Mid-Year Review Process
- Assist with client projects as directed by account executive or sales producer
- Complete additional projects as developed and assigned by your supervisor or management
Qualifications:
- Must hold or be capable of obtaining a current and valid Life/Health Insurance License
- Minimum of 1-year large business group life/health Customers Service experience or applicable education is preferred
- Prior experience using Applied EPIC is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
