Kratos has an exciting opportunity in Orlando, FL for a Senior Program Manager responsible for leading one or more program managers and/or teams of associated technical specialists in concept formulation, planning, design, production, testing, fielding and sustainment of simulation devices and services. Responsible for leading a team of multi-disciplinary people to accomplish business objectives within scheduled time constraints while meeting all the customer requirements. Strong customer relationship and customer expectation management skills are a must. Responsible to develop and manage approved program plans that include work break down structures, integrated master schedules, manpower plans, baseline budgets & Estimate at Completes (EACs), Key Performance Indictors

Experience And Skills
- BS or equivalent in Engineering; will consider other related scientific or technical discipline with strong engineering background.
- At least twelve (12) years of specialized experience and management responsibility of teams in technical disciplines related to the requirements
- Must have working knowledge of Department of Defense Acquisition Frame work and associated design milestones.
- Must be adept in Microsoft Office Suite including working knowledge of MS Project.
- Demonstrates experience in problem solving for complex, multi skill required issues.
- Technical ability to read engineering drawings and top level design work products
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite including working knowledge of MS Project.
- Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, and flexible.
- Ability to handle complex program planning, cost estimating, budgeting, financial tracking, resourcing, and monitoring of short term and long term multiple- disciplinary teams and project objectives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously within common processes and procedures
- Experience interacting with senior military and Government personnel
- Experience in development of military training systems and especially Naval training systems
- Awareness of Software CMMI principles and practices.
- Experience in military operations, service, and/or military standards
- Experience in development of military training systems
- To work at this facility, you must be a US Person
- Command at sea experience highly beneficial
- Qualified Surface Warfare Officer with expertise in all aspects of shipboard operations highly desirable
- Must have working knowledge of Earned Value Management.
- Experience interacting with senior military and Government personnel (Foreign)
- Working towards PMP, DAWIA Level 3 Certification in Program Management, or equivalent
- MS or equivalent in technical management is highly desirable
- Operational Surface Navy experience preferred
- Experienced delivering navigation, combat systems, engineering, and/or damage control training systems to US or allied partners
