GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for new product introduction and production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to in-house or outsourced production. Interfaces with design, process, test, reliability and manufacturing engineering to solve product issues and production problems. Develops and sustains process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
This position do not have supervisory responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develops professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
- Determines a course of action based on guidelines and modifies processes and methods as required.
- Supports in the development of new products from prototype through production release to ensures a smooth document package handoff to operations and production teams.
- Develops, reviews, and maintains manufacturing documentation including work instructions, BOMs, and test procedures.
- Advance level experience with tune and test for Microwave Products from DC to 50GHz.
- Works on problems of moderate scope which are often varied and routine where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Applies learned techniques and contributes to analysis and investigation to solve problems.
- Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
- Focuses on providing standard professional advice and creating initial reports/analyzes for review by experienced team professionals.
- Other duties as assigned.
