The Inventory Control Clerk plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, executing timely material issuance, and ensuring an organized and efficient workspace. This entry-level position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can work independently after training, communicate effectively, and maintain a high level of accuracy in all inventory-related tasks. The role also provides opportunities for hands-on cycle counting, material handling, discrepancy investigation, and occasional support for shipping activities, with the potential to transition from a Kratos temporary assignment to a permanent position.
The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000

- Assist with all basic warehouse inventory activity
- Conduct cycle counts on an ongoing basis
- Conduct inventory picks to satisfy job demand and issuance to projects or other
- customers
- Execute timely issuance of materials
- Organize the warehouse and all related inventory
- Able to work in ERP system, and Microsoft office suite
- Help investigate discrepancies
- Process project returns in a timely manner
- Be able to work independently after proper training
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Provide back up support for Shipping
- Execute other duties as assigned
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to access high places with proper equipment
- Experience with demonstrated increased responsibility and trust
- Possess keen attention to detail
- Ability to conduct detailed transactions error free
- 2 years customer service experience
- 2 years' experience in inventory or materials management
- Associate's degree
