GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Performing various types of operations in a particular Accounting department as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide administrative support for the following functions:
- Financial Reporting
- Month end reporting process
- General ledger accounting functions
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll functions
- Scan documents and updates as needed
- Other duties may be assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards.
- Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary.
- Ability to adhere to workplace rules.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions.
- Basic computer skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, majoring in Finance or Accounting or another related major.
- Shop floor and office environment.
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion (rotating wrists, keyboarding, using small/large tools).
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
