The Junior Project Manager supports Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects. The Junior Project Manager assists with daily project operations, documentation, scheduling, and communication to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with the coordination and management of multiple commercial construction projects.
- Support project planning activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Maintain and organize project documentation such as contracts, drawings, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Attend project meetings, take detailed notes, and follow up on action items.
- Assist in preparing project reports, cost tracking, and forecasts.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
- Help resolve project issues and escalate risks to the Project Manager as needed.
- Support site visits and inspections to ensure work aligns with plans and specifications.
