Smartliner USA makes custom-fit vehicle floor liners, cargo liners, and other automotive accessories, positioned as the value-focused challenger to WeatherTech and Husky Liners. We sell direct-to-consumer through Shopify and across major marketplaces, and we’re building out a content engine that shows our product doing its job in real trucks, SUVs, and daily drivers.

The Role

We’re looking for a Software Developer to join our in-house development team in Apopka, FL. This is a hands-on, in-person role: you’ll build and support the systems our warehouse, operations, and customer-facing teams rely on every day, from a custom warehouse management system to the integrations that keep our storefront and order management in sync.

We care more about how you think than which languages you already know. If you learn quickly, ask good questions, and like working alongside the people who use what you build, we’ll teach you the stack.

What You’ll Work On

• Modernizing our inventory management system, including migrating legacy Microsoft Access applications to modern infrastructure
• Building and extending our custom warehouse management system (Python, TypeScript)
• Maintaining the connection between our storefront and our order management system
• Developing internal applications used across the company
• Working on external applications that customers use to place orders
• Modernizing internal processes and integrating AI into existing systems
• Talking with teams across the business to understand how things actually work today, then finding creative ways to make them better

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Some experience building software, whether professionally, academically, or through personal projects
• Comfort with at least one programming language and a willingness to pick up others; our primary stack is Python, TypeScript, and SQL, but we don’t expect you to arrive knowing all of it
• Curiosity and a bias toward asking questions
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a small team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Spanish proficiency (strongly preferred). This role works closely with our warehouse team on the tools they use every day, and much of that collaboration happens in Spanish. Being able to communicate comfortably in both English and Spanish is a significant advantage.
• Located within commuting distance of Apopka, FL. This is a fully in-person position, and we are not able to offer relocation assistance or remote work for this role.
• Experience with EDI, ERP, or order management platforms (e.g., Orderful, SellerCloud)
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Walmart) or warehouse/logistics systems
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Git, and cloud services (Azure)
