We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our Service Team. The Fabricator will be responsible for performing high-quality welding, fabrication, and repair work on tank trailers, ensuring all equipment meets DOT, HM, and company standards. This role requires a strong technical background, precision craftsmanship, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced service environment.
Position Responsibilities
· Perform fabrication, welding, and modifications on tank trailers, including aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel components.
· Repair or replace damaged structural components, side section, pitting and other tank trailer repairs
· Ensure all work complies with DOT and HM regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.
· Operate fabrication equipment such as welders, plasma cutters, grinders, torches, and other shop tools.
· Inspect trailers for cracks, leaks, pitting, or other structural issues and document required repairs.
· Work closely with service advisors and service manager to provide accurate repair estimates and timelines.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following company and OSHA safety guidelines.
· Assist with training and mentoring junior technicians or apprentices as needed.
