🧼 What You’ll Be Doing

As our Director of Environmental Services, you will lead all housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure our facility shines—inside and out.

• Lead and inspire housekeeping and laundry teams

• Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, safe, and welcoming

• Oversee daily operations, scheduling, timekeeping, and staffing coverage

• Hire, train, coach, and support team members in partnership with HR

• Maintain supply inventory and establish PAR levels

• Ensure compliance with state regulations, safety standards, and infection control practices

• Communicate with residents, families, and staff to address concerns and special needs

• Monitor budgets and implement cost-effective practices

• Investigate and report incidents promptly and accurately

• Work closely with leadership to ensure units are move-in ready

• Directly supervises approximately 31 team members

🎓 What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience

• 6 months to 1 year of housekeeping, laundry, or environmental services experience (healthcare preferred)

• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

• Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

• Willingness to learn scheduling and timekeeping systems (Paycom/OnShift a plus!)

• A positive, team-first attitude and commitment to resident dignity and care

💪 Physical & Work Environment

• Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs occasionally)

• Moderate noise level typical of a healthcare setting

• Exposure to cleaning agents and laundry equipment

Ability to successfully pass a background screening through the AHCA Clearinghouse
