We’re looking for a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist who can own our online presence, tell our story, and support internal operations through strong communication, systems, and content.
Position Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist:
- Leads our social media and digital marketing strategy
- Drives brand storytelling and content creation
- Supports internal communications, onboarding, and training materials
- Assists with light technology and systems support as needed
This is a full-time, in-office position in Colorado Springs, CO, reporting to the VP of Business Development and CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Presence
- Manage and grow company accounts on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar
- Write, design, and schedule posts with strong storytelling and visual design
- Capture and edit short-form video (Reels/TikToks/shorts)
- Track performance metrics and engagement, and provide simple reports
- Respond to comments and messages with a professional, warm tone
Marketing Content & Brand Assets
- Design branded materials (flyers, rack cards, proposals, social graphics, banners, decals, posters, etc.)
- Create marketing assets for hiring, events, proposals, and business development
- Maintain photo/video libraries and branded templates
- Support development of a podcast and YouTube channel
Internal Communications, Admin & Light IT Support
- Help organize digital content & files (e.g., SharePoint, project folders, etc.)
- Draft job descriptions and post roles to platforms like really and LinkedIn
- Support applicant coordination (scheduling, communications, simple assessments)
- Provide light IT support (device setup, software access, basic troubleshooting)
Onboarding, Training & Documentation
- Create onboarding checklists and digital training materials (slides, PDFs, how-to videos)
- Record and edit internal training videos (non-public)
- Maintain an organized digital training library for the team
Research & Special Projects
- Research digital marketing trends, tools, and audience strategies
- Support special campaigns and process-improvement projects across teams
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Haves
- 3–5 years in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple social platforms for a brand or organization
- Strong writing skills – short-form captions, storytelling, and professional communication
- Ability to shoot and edit short-form video for platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Experience with at least one design/content tool (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud)
- Highly organized; comfortable managing content calendars and digital file systems
- Able to work independently, take ownership, and communicate proactively in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in construction, real estate, architecture, or related industries
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva Pro, YouTube tools, or AI writing tools
- Experience supporting hiring content or employer branding
- Experience with SharePoint or similar document/project management tools
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
Within your first 90 days, you will have:
- Posted consistently across key social platforms from Week 1
- Published 100 pieces of content (graphics, videos, posts)
- Established and reported on core engagement and reach metrics
- Created at least 2 internal training or onboarding resources
- Helped organize a digital folder system that the team actually uses
- Delivered a 90-day recap and proposed content plan for the next quarter
