Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in providing advice to member firms' clients, in a range of industries, on international tax services and offerings
- Monitor and convey to client's information regarding U.S. technical developments as well as their application to Federal and International tax issues
- Build, manage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagements teams while maintaining active communication with clients in an effort to manage expectations and help ensure client satisfaction
- Lead, participate in and contribute to market and business development activities external to the firm, including identifying and pursuing new potential client service opportunities by collaborating with KPMG's Audit and Advisory practices
- Contribute to the growth, experience and institutional knowledge of the International Tax practice staff level team members
- Minimum ten years of recent broad experience in international corporate taxation
- Previous experience with several of the following common international tax planning areas: Outbound Transactional Structuring and Subpart F, Inbound Transactional Structuring, Check the Box Principles, U.S. Tax Treaty Research, Repatriation Strategies, Intellectual and Intangible Property Planning, Structured Finance, Base Shifting, FSC/EIE, Foreign Tax Credit Planning, Transfer Pricing or International Mergers and Acquisitions
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Licensed CPA, JD/LLM or Foreign equivalent, combined with Enrolled Agent
- Demonstrated track record of business development with the ability to develop and maintain existing internal and external client relationships and help build new relationships with key targets
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple engagements and client service teams as well as developing and mentoring staff within a collaborative team environment
