Job Description :
Role 1 – Network Engineer (3 Years’ Experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access equipment, and supporting components.
- Perform equipment upgrades, including racking, patching, configuration, testing, and diagnostics.
- Create and update network diagrams and documentation.
- Provide clear communication to operations teams and stakeholders during change windows and high-priority incidents.
- Respond to dynamic support needs within clinical or operational environments.
- Collaborate with various IT teams, project leads, and vendor personnel.
- Conduct regular travel within the assigned territory for on-site support.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in an on-call rotation once trained.
- Track time and expenses accurately.
- Learn new technologies quickly to support project and operational success.
- Coordinate tasks with third-party field resources and ensure quality control.
- Handle multiple priorities in high-pressure environments while maintaining professionalism.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting and implementing enterprise network equipment.
- Strong background with Cisco networking hardware and technologies.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills across wired, wireless, and NAC concepts.
- Solid understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE and basic enterprise network management tools (e.g., DNAC, ISE, wireless controllers) preferred.
- Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Splunk) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent experience (min. 3 years).
- Must hold or obtain a foundational network certification (e.g., CCNA, Network ) within first year.
Role 2 – Senior Network Engineer (5–7 Years’ Experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Support installation, configuration, and troubleshooting across enterprise LAN/WAN, wireless, and firewall systems.
- Provide hands-on support for Cisco routers, switches, next-generation firewalls, wireless controllers, and associated systems.
- Maintain and improve network documentation and diagrams.
- Perform hardware upgrades and lifecycle tasks (racking, patching, configuration, testing).
- Communicate effectively during major incidents and planned maintenance activities.
- Work with engineering teams, operations, and facility support staff to meet enterprise network standards.
- Conduct on-site work with occasional regional travel.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Rapidly learn emerging technologies as required by projects or operational needs.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate remote-hands or third-party resources.
- Manage multiple tasks under pressure with strong customer service orientation.
Required Skills & Experience

- Hands-on experience with:

- Cisco Firewalls (FP/TD series)
- IPAM, DNS, DHCP (e.g., InfoBlox)
- Familiarity with Splunk, Cisco Umbrella, WAN carrier equipment, and Cisco VoIP solutions is highly beneficial.
- Strong Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, 802.11, etc.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of experience in enterprise network management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
