Job Title: Finance Business Analyst / Systems Analyst – Hyperion
Duration: 6 Months Contract (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)
Location: Miami, FL – 5 Days Onsite (Strongly Preferred)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Finance Business Analyst / Systems Analyst to support a large-scale finance transformation initiative. The client is flexible on the overall skill set, provided the candidate has strong finance transformation experience and hands-on exposure to Hyperion technologies.
At least one team member must bring deep Hyperion / Essbase expertise, while additional team members may qualify with highly transferable finance transformation or financial systems experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support finance transformation programs across planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Act as a liaison between Finance and IT stakeholders
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Work hands-on with Hyperion / Essbase applications
- Support system enhancements, testing, and deployment activities
- Analyze current-state finance processes and recommend improvements
- Ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and performance optimization
- Create functional documentation and support user training
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Finance Business Analyst or Systems Analyst
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion and/or Essbase
- Background in Finance Transformation, FP&A, or Financial Systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work 5 days onsite (Miami preferred)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Deep Hyperion / Essbase expertise (required for at least one hire)
- Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud or similar financial platforms
- Exposure to other finance transformation technologies
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale financial system initiatives
