What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at KPC Promise Healthcare LLC?
KPC Promise Hospital of SALT LAKE: The Nurse Practitioner (NP) works in collaboration with a physician to assess patient's medical needs. He/She will orders, interpret, and records results of clinical tests and report results to physicians, prescribe medication(s) and make recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters Degree, with a certification as CRNP (Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner)
- Must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing
- Two to four years of experience, long term acute care and rehabilitation experience is preferred
- Critical care experience preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills with minimal guidance
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
