Controller

Provides financial oversight and coordinates the preparation and analysis of financial reports.   Supervises the Accounting Department, including Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accountant.

• Bachelor in Business Administration; Major in Accounting preferred. 
• Minimum five (5) years Hospital Accounting as a Supervisor.

• Coordinates and participates in the preparation of financial statements and government regulatory reports.
• Identifies and analyzes significant fluctuations in income, expenses, assets or liability balances and reports findings to appropriate department heads.  Assists with cash management.
• Prepares financial reports for use by the CFO and Administration.
• Coordinates Medicare and Medi-Cal reporting requirements and audits.
• Identifies enhancement opportunities for accounting systems and recommends appropriate changes.
• Maintains an accurate accounting of all contractual and due to/from items and statistical information for hospital departments.
• Supervises the Accounting Department, Staff Accountant, AP & Payroll.
• Ensures compliance with internal financial controls. Participates in annual audit of financial statement.
• Participates in annual audit of financial statement.
• Ensures that all tax reports are filed accurately and on time.
• Other duties as requested

Salary : $215,000 - $265,000
