Job Summary
The maintenance technician will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automation, electrical, and mechanical equipment to support production operations.

$20 - $23 per hour

1st shift: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. M-F

Duties
Complete assigned work orders and troubleshoot automation, electrical, and mechanical equipment problems
Perform calibrations and maintain documentation
Participate in new equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
Recommend and implement corrective and preventative measures to eliminate equipment problems and improve work practices
Participate in preventative maintenance programs to optimize mechanical efficiency and production flow
Maintain documentation of work performed, parts used, and follow-up needed related to equipment maintenance
Maintain housekeeping standards in work areas and assist co-workers as necessary
Work with production leadership to schedule required maintenance and calibrations
Perform tasks consistent with company standards and guidelines and support program initiatives
Provide coverage for absences and vacations within the maintenance department when required
Qualifications
Combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree in electrical engineering technology, automation, or related discipline and 5–10 years of responsible multi-craft maintenance experience in an industrial environment
Experience troubleshooting and replacing AC and DC drives
Knowledge of the National Electric Code and relevant OSHA requirements
Basic understanding of mechanical components and maintenance of automated and technologically advanced machinery
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and maintenance diagrams for electrical and mechanical components
Understanding of PLC systems and ability to interpret PLC program code and documentation
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing demands
Solid communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Background in welding, machining, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems preferred
