We are currently seeking experienced professionals to become debt collectors. Debt collectors will be responsible for following up with customers in an attempt to collect outstanding debts owed to our organization. The successful candidates will have experience working in a sales environment, as well as excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Make outgoing calls to customers who have missed their monthly payments, and schedule repayments.
- Handle delinquent accounts by communicating with customers.
- Appear in court if needed to seek repayment of debts.
- Deal with debt collection agencies.
- Review missing payment reports and follow up with customers to collect payment.
- Collect money from debtors; Cooperate with other departments and government agencies if necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
