Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and on time
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and company accounts
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with leadership and external accountants as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Qualifications
- 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, ADP, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
