Kowboy Fence Company is hiring an Inventory & Assistant Project Manager — a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who's organized, driven, and ready to build a real career in operations and project management.
You'll be the backbone of your location's field operations — working directly under the Location Manager to keep materials stocked, jobs properly supplied, and the whole machine running without a hitch. You'll get firsthand experience with how projects come together from start to finish, and the path to a full PM role is wide open for the right person.

What You'll Do
• Kick off the day — meet with crews every morning to get them loaded up, staged, and ready to roll
• Own the schedule — coordinate and manage crew scheduling across active projects at your location
• Call in 811s — submit utility locate requests and track clearances so jobs can start on time, every time
• Run the yard — manage inventory, receive and help unload weekly material shipments, and keep everything organized and accounted for
• Supply the jobs — coordinate material pulls and staging so crews have what they need, when they need it
• Stay ahead of shortages — track material usage across active projects and flag issues before they cause delays
• Support the Location Manager — assist with job documentation, operational coordination, and keeping things moving day to day
• Keep it clean and safe — maintain a well-organized yard that the whole team can rely on
What You Bring
• Experience in inventory, warehouse, construction, or a related field
• Sharp organizational skills and serious attention to detail
• A team-first attitude and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working outside in all kinds of weather
• Basic spreadsheet skills for tracking and logging
• Forklift experience is a big plus — we'll train the right person if needed
• Hunger to learn and move up — we promote from within
