Bucks County Center for Vein Medicine and Kowalski Surgical Center is an independent private surgical practice in Langhorne, PA. We specialize in the treatment of varicose veins and venous insufficiency. We are professional, agile and fun group of people dedicated to the outstanding care of our patients.
Our Vein Clinic is looking for a part time Registered Vascular Ultrasonographer to support the team by performing venous exams and interpreting data. No arterial studies needed and no procedure skills needed. The successful candidate will need a background in performing ultrasound exams along with a current valid license to practice.
The practicing surgeon will be on site at the office, to assist and support the new hire.
The individual will be required to schedule appointments and prepare patients for examination. The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team to support the Ultrasonography department, have previous experience in the medical field, have strong communication skills and be comfortable working with patients. First time candidates are welcome as well. This is a busy, growing practice and dedicated to the growth of all its members.
Responsibilities:
- Use vascular ultrasound to evaluate varicose vein patients.
- Be able to identify abnormal structures.
- Be aware of normal structures and conditions.
- Know the level of pain a patient is feeling in order to assess their condition.
- Learn and adhere to all safety regulations and IAC accreditation standards.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $ $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
