The Kowalski Heat Treating Company is a family owned commercial heat treating company located in Cleveland, Ohio. The Kowalski Heat Treating Company has immediate openings for experienced Heat Treat Operators. The Heat Treat Operator is responsible for the operation of salt bath furnaces, vacuum furnaces, bathes, quenches and cleaning systems to thermally process metal components in a fast paced team environment. Responsibilities include:
- racking parts for processing
- reading production schedules to determine production sequence and temperature requirements
- loading and unloading vacuum furnaces
- loading and unloading salt bath furnaces
- examining parts to ensure conformance to customer specifications
- assisting in hardness testing
- entering customer information in order tracking system
- maintaining neat and orderly work area at all times
