Description & Summary:

The award winning Grandover Resort & Spa, a Wyndham Grand Hotel is currently seeking an experienced, outgoing, professional, and energetic Floor Technician for 3rd shift. Knowledge of proficiency, operating floor care equipment such as (buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors, floor extractors, bonnet cleaning, vacuuming, and mopping.  Maintaining all floors in various commercial and industrial areas Maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Floor Maintenance Cleaning:

·         Performing various floor maintenance duties, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, stripping, refinishing, sealing floor surfaces, and waxing floors.

·         Moves furniture before and after cleaning to ensure thorough floor maintenance.

·         Measures and uses cleaning chemicals correctly.

·         Operates floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, vacuum cleaners and shop vacuums.

·         Disposing of trash hazardous and waste

·         Dust mopping, damp mopping,

·         Reporting maintenance issues

·         Following safety standard procedures and guidelines.

·         Assisting with housekeeping duties as needed.

·         Responding to emergency unexpected spills or releases

·         Maintaining equipment supplies and supplies, ensuring equipment is clean and in good working order

·         Completed work is neat, accurate, mop bucket emptied.

·         Moving furniture for cleaning purposes and follow safety procedures

·         Report all maintenance issues to Manager
