Communications Dispatcher Location 3121 W GATE CITY BLVD, GREENSBORO, NC, 27407-4615, United States Base Pay $13.00 / Hour Employee Type Hourly - FT Description Communications Dispatcher- Full-time 6:45am-3:15pm The Communication Dispatcher operates in the Communications Room for a daily shift of eight hours. The Communications Room is a twenty four hour operation. We are seeking a full-time dispatcher for 1st shift 6:45am to 3:15pm. During each shift the dispatcher is required to remain alert and conscience of all radio traffic, incoming alarms and incoming telephone calls. Responsibilities: Checking and testing alarm and radio equipment at the start of the shift Taking, properly routing, and logging guest calls Initiating by radio or phone emergency procedures for fire and security alarms and personal injuries Monitoring and operating the fire and security alarm CRT system Contacting by telephone city emergency response departments when needed Dispatching and receiving two-way radio traffic Logging by hand all dispatched and received radio traffic Answering and placing in-house and local telephone calls as needed Monitoring and operating as needed the Sheraton’s emergency generator panel Requirements Weekend availability Ability to prioritize Ability to multi-task Some computer experience Strong attention to detail Team player Excellent customer service skills Benefits include: Weekly pay Paid time off Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Pet, Life Insurance 401k with employer match Hotel Discount Program Holiday Pay Employee Assistance Program Employee Cafeteria Direct Deposit Summary This employer has partnered with HireCredit to qualify employees for a tax credit program, the Work Opportunity Tax Credit.
