Position Overview
KOST ENERGY CORP is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Personal Assistant to support senior leadership in a fast-paced oil & gas environment. This hybrid role is based out of Houston, TX and requires a professional who can manage both business and limited personal administrative matters with efficiency and confidentiality. Oil & gas industry experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-level administrative and personal support to executive leadership
• Manage complex calendars, scheduling, travel arrangements, and itineraries
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take notes, and follow up on action items
• Handle confidential correspondence, emails, and phone communications
• Assist with document preparation, presentations, and reports
• Act as a liaison between executives, internal teams, and external partners
• Support special projects related to energy operations, investments, or acquisitions
• Manage expense reports, invoices, and basic bookkeeping tasks
• Perform ad hoc personal assistance tasks as needed (errands, appointments, logistics)
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Preferred Qualifications
• 3 years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role
• Oil & gas or energy industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of professional services, corporate operations, or energy markets
• Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and scheduling tools
• Ability to work independently and anticipate needs
• Flexible schedule with availability outside standard business hours when required
