Staff Accountant - Investment Management

Korn Ferry is pleased to be partnering with our client on this exciting opportunity on this newly created position.

Working closely with the Controller to support the day-to-day accounting operations, this role provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure financial services while building upon your primary accounting skills. You will work as a small, collaborative team.

This role works 4 days a week in office.

Responsibilities

• Support general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and internal reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Maintain compliance with GAAP, implement internal controls, and manage investment records.
• Collaborate on technology implementation and participate in ad-hoc financial projects.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices.

Experience

• The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting. Progress toward CPA preferred but not required.
• Work experience including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and cash flow analysis
• Must possess strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct accounting software and experience with a software migration or implementation a plus.
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills.

This position offers a competitive base salary of $75K -$85K plus discretionary bonus, full benefits, and free onsite parking.
