Account Executive-Software Sales

Korn Ferry has partnered with a multi-billion-dollar global tax and accounting software provider to identify a consultative, hunter-oriented sales professional for a high-impact Account Executive opportunity.

The team is seeking a proactive, consultative sales professional who thrives in a performance-driven environment, enjoys building executive-level relationships, and can uncover business challenges that lead to meaningful client outcomes.
This role is ideal for a proven B2B sales professional with experience selling SaaS, information services, and workflow-driven solutions. Account Executive are responsible for driving new business growth, expanding existing client relationships, and managing a territory of CPA and accounting firm clients.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth within CPA and accounting firms across an assigned territory
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities
- Manage and expand an established portfolio of client accounts
- Conduct discovery meetings, virtual presentations, and in-person client conversations
- Build relationships with Managing Partners, Tax Partners, Firm Administrators, CIOs, and other executive decision-makers
- Position cloud-based tax, accounting, research, workflow, and productivity solutions using a consultative sales approach
- Develop strategic account plans focused on growth, retention, and wallet share expansion
- Maintain pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and CRM documentation in Salesforce
- Collaborate with internal teams across sales, implementation, support, product, and customer success
- Consistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals
Qualifications
- 5 years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience
- Experience selling SaaS, software, business applications, information services, or related solutions
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding quota
- Strong prospecting, pipeline development, and territory management skills
- Experience conducting executive-level sales conversations and presentations
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, field-based sales environment
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform
- Background selling into CPA firms, tax and accounting, legal tech, HCM, ERP, or enterprise software is a plus
- Formal sales methodology training or sales performance awards are a plus
