Responsibilities

- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
- Assist in catering events as needed, showcasing fine dining service skills.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as necessary, and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or high-volume establishment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of various beverages, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and drink preparation measurements.
- Exceptional hospitality skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
- Ability to handle food safely according to health regulations; food handling certification is a plus.
- Must be of legal drinking age in accordance with local laws and regulations.
