Responsibilities
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support meal production. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support the cooking team by preparing ingredients according to established recipes and standards. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices at all times. Assist with setting up food service areas, including plating dishes and preparing serving stations for meal service. Help with catering events or large orders by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items. Follow all safety protocols related to kitchen equipment, knife handling, and food storage to ensure a safe working environment.
Prior kitchen or culinary experience in the food industry will be advantageous but is not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
