What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse- Casual position at Koochiching Health Services?
What You’ll Do
- Provide direct nursing care and oversee daily care provided by nursing assistants.
- Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centered care that meets all federal, state, and local standards.
- Administer medications safely and accurately while monitoring resident responses.
- Assess resident conditions and implement individualized care plans.
- Supervise, support, and guide nursing staff to ensure compliance and excellence in care.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with physicians, families, and care teams as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Minnesota.
- CPR certification (current).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Compassion and respect for the elderly and individuals in need of care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and families.
Pay
- $36.00 to $43.00 an hour based on experience pay.
