What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN- Part-Time Evenings position at Koochiching Health Services?
The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical Nurse is to provide direct nursing care to the residents and to monitor the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. The performance of these duties must be in accordance with the current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our care center, and as may be required and communicated by the Director of Nursing (DON) or Administrator to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Starting Wages are $32.75
Resident care Responsibilities:
Provide direct resident care and monitoring, Follow and recommend updates to the plan of care for residents, including immediate and long-term goals, perform basic nursing procedures safely and efficiently and maintain technical skills, ensure medications are safely administered as ordered by the physician. Accurately monitor residents’ needs and implement appropriate intervention and most importantly Communicate clearly and appropriately, both verbally and in writing.

Job Requirements:
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license in Minnesota as a Registered Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Maintain current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
