Position Overview
The Payroll Coordinator will support the Payroll Manager in processing payroll and handling day-to-day payroll operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing for assigned locations and pay groups, including manual entries and corrections
- Troubleshoot and resolve upload/connector errors and maintain accurate data in ADP
- Update costing, new hires, terminations, and recurring pay elements in HCM systems
- Process time files for payroll vendor uploads and review audit reports for accuracy
- Handle banking and third-party transactions, including ACH returns and check reissues
- Oversee garnishment processing through SmartCompliance
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from internal teams and external partners
- Partner with HR and operations to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
Qualifications
- 3 years of payroll processing experience, including payroll tax exposure
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Experience with ADP GlobalView, UKG/Kronos Workforce Ready, or SAP preferred
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities
