Reports To: Managing Partners

Salary range: $75-90k

About Us

Konvoy is a thesis-driven investment firm based in Denver, Colorado, focused on investing in the technologies and platforms of interactive entertainment, deep tech, and critical industries. We're seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager / Executive Assistant to join our team, improve our internal operations, and run our Denver HQ.

The Job = “The Operator” of Konvoy HQ

You own the space and internal operations that keep us running. You ensure our physical space never skips a beat. We aren’t looking for a traditional gatekeeper; we’re looking for a partner to take full ownership of our Denver HQ. At Konvoy, we need an Office Manager and EA who is obsessed with the details and takes pride in creating an environment where our team and our guests can do their best work. You are the "first impression" for our founders and the secret weapon for our leadership team.

This isn't just about managing workflows—it’s about setting the pace. You’ll blend high-level executive support with creative office curation, ensuring our team has the focus and the tools they need to win. If you thrive on variety, love the energy of a high-growth firm, and believe that no detail is too small to get right, you’ll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curate the Office Experience: You don't just "order supplies" - you are the architect of our daily environment. You ensure our Cherry Creek office feels like a world-class home base by:
  • -- Setting the Tone: Acting as the first point of contact for everyone entering the building, ensuring every founder and guest has a professional and welcoming first impression of Konvoy.
  • -- Driving Daily Operations: Taking full ownership of the "little things" that make a big difference - from sourcing the best local coffee and curating a high-quality snack selection to managing deliveries and keeping our tech (like printers and meeting room AV) running flawlessly.
  • -- Maintaining "Investor-Ready" Standards: Ensuring the office remains impeccably organized and preparing meeting rooms for internal huddles or high-stakes external gatherings so the team can walk in and get straight to work.
  • -- Owning the Infrastructure: You own the relationships that keep us running. From vetting elite service providers to managing our IT partners, you ensure that our tech and our physical space never skip a beat. If a system fails or a vendor isn't up to par, you’re already two steps ahead with a solution.
  • Events & Connection: From team happy hours to high-stakes founder and investor dinners that we host, you’ll be the lead architect of our firm’s outward facing experiences, handling everything from venue scouting to the tiny details that make an event memorable.
  • Special Projects & Growth: We are a lean team, which means you’ll often have a front-row seat to new initiatives. You’ll take point on special projects that fall outside the daily scope—whether that’s researching a new tool for the team or helping launch a firm-wide initiative—always with an eye toward making us faster and smarter.
  • Protect Our Focus: You will be the strategic partner to our investment team and specifically manage the calendars of the Managing Partners with a focus on optimizing their time efficiency. This isn’t just about scheduling calls; it’s about:
  • -- Prioritizing: appointment prioritization and (over time) knowing which meetings are critical and which can wait.
  • -- Anticipating the Unspoken: Learning to anticipate needs before they are voiced, from prepping meeting materials in advance to building in "buffer time" between important meetings.

Who You Are / Qualifications

  • High Agency & Resourceful: You don't wait for a manual or a nudge. If you see a tech glitch in the boardroom or a gap in our workflow, you fix it. You are a proactiveproblem-solver who thrives in a dynamic setting and handles every task with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Hospitality at Heart: You genuinely enjoy making people feel welcomed. As the first person our guests see, you set the tone for their entire Konvoy experience. You balance this warmth with total discretion, handling sensitive information with the utmost professional care.
  • Reliable & Responsive: You understand that in investing, timing is critical. You take pride in maintaining a 1-hour response window for internal team communications during business hours (9 AM - 6 PM) and stay reachable for those rare but critical after-hours travel or scheduling emergencies.
  • Tech-Fluent & Curious: You are a pro in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Slack. Beyond the basics, you have a deep willingness to learn. You’re excited to master new skills—like editing a newsletter or updating a website—because you want to understand how to grow your own skills in this position.
  • Experienced but Adaptable: You have 3 years of experience in office management or as an EA (ideally within an investment firm, startup, or wealth management). A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but we care more about your proven impact and ability to multitask than just the lines on your resume.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
  • Opportunities for professional growth in a growing investment firm.
  • A collaborative and inclusive work culture with team-building events and networking opportunities.

Logistics and Next Steps

  • Location: In-office, Cherry Creek (Denver, CO). We believe the best culture is built in person.
  • Comp: $75k – $90k Benefits.
  • Apply: Send your resume and a short note about why you’re a fit via the Job Application (Typeform) – also, please Ditch the generic cover letter—tell us what "high agency" and “hospitality” means to you.
