Staff / Mid-Level Accountant

We are partnering with a growing construction company in South Florida that is looking to add a Staff / Mid-Level Accountant to its finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than a traditional accounting role. You will be involved in the day-to-day accounting function while also working closely with project teams and operations, gaining exposure to job costing, billing, revenue recognition, and full-cycle accounting.

The business is busy, growing, and operationally driven, so this role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the work and seeing the impact of what they do.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing day-to-day accounting tasks across the business
• Supporting job costing, billing, and revenue recognition
• Assisting with month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting
• Working closely with project managers and operational teams
• Helping improve processes as the business continues to grow
• Gaining broad exposure across the accounting function

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in accounting, ideally within construction, real estate, development, or a project-based environment
• Understanding of job costing, billing, or revenue recognition would be a plus
• Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach
• Someone who enjoys working closely with the business, not just sitting behind the numbers
• Good communication skills and the ability to partner with non-finance teams
