Job Title: BDC Sales Internet Lead Specialist

Schedule: Mon/Tuesday off or Monday/Wednesday (Must be able to work weekends) hours 9 am-5 pm (30-minute lunch) or 12pm- 8 pm
Location: Glendora, CA (100% onsite)
Pay Range: $20 per hour
Position Summary:
The BDC Sales Internet Lead Specialist is responsible for engaging with potential customers via email, phone, text, and video to generate appointments and drive showroom traffic. This role is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and professional communication, accurate documentation, and coordination with the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Engagement & Follow-Up:
- Contact all new internet leads through calls, texts, emails, and videos.
- Respond to all inbound phone inquiries, capturing customer details and vehicle interest.
- Follow up with unsold showroom traffic within 1 hour of their visit.
- Complete follow-up calls for previous day’s store visits.
- Database & Appointment Management:
- Accurately log all leads and opportunities with complete customer and vehicle information.
- Schedule showroom appointments and ensure timely handoff to the sales team.
- Maintain task lists and follow-up schedules in CRM systems.
- Assign yourself as BDC on leads where follow-up contact was made.
- Prospecting & Customer Retention:
- Mine existing customer database for new vehicle sales opportunities.
- Support repeat business and referrals through ongoing customer engagement.
- Update and manage customer records and performance notes.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Communicate regularly with Internet Manager, GSM, and Sales Managers.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions.
- Meet performance metrics: Minimum 20% appointments set to opportunities and 70% appointment show rate.
- Complete daily check-out process with Internet/Sales Manager.
- Other Duties:
- Stay current with product knowledge, dealership promotions, and sales tools.
- Follow all dealership policies and training requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of customer service or BDC experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive, sales-driven attitude.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Valid California Driver’s License and Sales License required.
- Must be able to pass background check and maintain clean driving record.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to calculate percentages and understand basic sales tax calculations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and respond to customer inquiries effectively.
Physical & Work Environment:
- Frequent use of phone, computer, and office equipment.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 25-30 lbs.
- Work involves both indoor office and outdoor dealership lot environments.
- Moderate to high noise levels typical of office and automotive settings.
