Position: Packaging Assembler – Clean Products (1st Shift)
Location: Valencia, CA
Department: Clean Products
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. (possible overtime on Saturdays)
Status: Temporary – Projected 3-month minimum assignment with the possibility of temp-to-hire depending on production demand.
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

Position Summary
The Packaging Assembler is responsible for basic packaging and assembly of precision products in a cleanroom environment. This includes bundling, wrapping, inspecting, counting, and operating packaging machinery. The role supports high-volume production while maintaining quality, accuracy, and safety standards.
This position is projected for a minimum of 3 months, with potential to convert to temp-to-hire based on performance and continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and package components per approved specifications and blueprints.
- Operate or tend machines that package product.
- Inspect, count, and secure finished items using hand-tie, heat-seal, glue, or vacuum-seal methods.
- Monitor and adjust machine flow, temperature, and speed.
- Identify and remove defective materials.
- Replenish packaging supplies such as cartons, wrapping paper, or labels.
- Maintain cleanroom protocols and proper use of PPE.
- Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to ensure workflow accuracy.
- Follow all safety requirements and maintain good housekeeping.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma, GED, or 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- U.S. person status per ITAR/EAR regulations.
Preferred:
- Cleanroom experience.
- Blueprint reading.
- Lean manufacturing / 5S familiarity.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Fast learner with results-oriented mindset.
Work Environment
- Controlled indoor cleanroom (temperature approx. 66°F).
- Requires use of smocks, gloves, hairnets, and shoe covers.
- Safety-toed shoes required.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
