Production Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)
St. Paul, MN | Direct Hire | $30–$36/hour (DOE)
1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Mon–Fri, OT as needed)

Overview:
Seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support production equipment (not facilities). This role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment (mechanical, electrical, PLCs, sensors, vision systems)
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Diagnose root causes and implement long-term fixes and improvements
- Repair/replace components and optimize machine performance
- Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations
- Partner with production and engineering teams to improve reliability and efficiency
- Maintain accurate work orders and documentation
- 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience or technical degree
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, and automated equipment
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Experience in packaging, converting, printing, or similar manufacturing is a plus
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics and controls systems
