Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties
At the direction of the Project Manager, the supervisor will serve as primary representative; manage contract-related matters, notices, deliverables, and daily operations to include (but not limited to):
- Oversee building maintenance, ensure uninterrupted service, and liaise with Contracting Officer
- Implement Quality Control Program and ensure legal compliance
- Supervise staffing, subcontracting, and Building Operating Plan
- Administer NCMMS and oversee energy/water efficiency programs
- Supervise safety, environmental compliance, and system maintenance
- Coordinate additional services and prepare required reports
- Ensure staff training and certification; manage emergency response
- Coordinate with contractors and Government personnel
- Implement sustainable practices, pest management, and waste programs
- Oversee special maintenance including snow removal and grounds maintenance
- Supervise hazardous materials handling and fire protection systems
- Complete IT Security Training for Agency and Contractor Employees
- Maintain architectural and structural systems
- Maintain active system file and Government access account for NCMMS usage
- Minimum of five (5) years of Operations & Maintenance/Facilities Management experience, with at least 2 years in a project management/supervisory role
- Experience must include operation, management, and supervision of building mechanical maintenance operations for buildings of similar size, complexity, and characteristics
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma
- Minimum Experience: 2 Years as a Supervisor of trades staff
