Responsibilities
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code using the best software development practices
- Create website layout and user interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data and webforms from various back-end services and databases
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
- Coordinate with other units to generate content and host information on our site
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices
- Check computer hardware to ensure functionality
- Install and configure software to meet the firm’s needs in accordance with department policy
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Maintain records of resolved technical issues
- Resolve technical problems reported by end users

Skills
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Experience with HTML/CSS
- Understanding of both programming and web programming fundamentals
- Familiarity with WordPress
- A solid understanding of information security and best development practices
- Familiarity with database systems, object-oriented programming, and website development
- Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization process
- Able to solve complex problems promptly
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks to meet company goals and deadlines
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Able to operate independently and as a team
- Able to outline technical details in plain language
- Familiarity with IT best practices, including backup and recovery software methodologies
- Ability to solve complex problems, think critically, and listen actively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office with special emphasis on Excel
- Detail-oriented work habits that can cope with a fast-paced environment
- Able to strictly adhere to legal confidentiality requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in computer science or related field
- Two years of both IT and web design experience (five preferred)
- Bilingual: English/Spanish (Preferred)
