Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality interpretation services during consultations, client meetings, trial preparations, and other legal proceedings—both in person and over the phone.
- Deliver consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between Spanish, English, and Portuguese, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all communications.
- Perform sight translations of legal documents for clients and attorneys, conveying meaning with precision.
- Accompany clients and attorneys to USCIS interviews, offering interpretation support as needed.
- Translate legal and administrative documents between interpreting sessions with attention to legal terminology and cultural context.
- Offer administrative assistance to attorneys and paralegals, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in handling all client and attorney information, in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally
- Strong active listening abilities to ensure accurate understanding and effective response in both client and team interactions
- Thrives under pressure, maintaining focus, accuracy, and professionalism in fast-paced or high-stakes environments
- A highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with clients and the legal team
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments, demonstrating resilience and adaptability

- Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on clear communication, empathy, and problem-solving
- Willingness to cross-train and support multiple functions, contributing to team flexibility and operational efficiency
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Associate degree with a minimum of two years of professional interpreting experience
- Certification: Translator/Interpreter certification preferred
- Language Proficiency: Full professional fluency in both Spanish and English
- Experience: Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in interpreting and translating in a professional setting
