Designer / Creative Production Coordinator – eFootball

Konami Digital Entertainment
Hawthorne, CA Contractor
POSTED ON 5/22/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 6/20/2026

Position Summary

KONAMI Digital Entertainment (KDE) is seeking a Designer/Creative Production Coordinator to support the eFootball team across the Americas on a contract basis.

This is a temporary contract position through a third-party staffing agency, assigned to support KONAMI Digital Entertainment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on designer who can also manage creative workflows, approval processes, and asset organization with accuracy and consistency. The position will support the creation, adaptation, localization, submission, tracking, and delivery of creative materials for eFootball marketing initiatives across the Americas.

The ideal candidate has strong visual design skills, understands digital and social media creative, and can operate in a highly structured approval environment. This person should be able to interpret creative direction from Japan, create and adapt assets from both scratch and existing materials, prepare assets for review, manage feedback rounds, and keep multiple deliverables moving at the same time.

This role will work closely with the eFootball Americas team, the Brand Team in Japan, external agencies, licensors, and internal KONAMI stakeholders.

This is an individual contributor role. It is not a people-management position, but it requires ownership, creative judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across teams, regions, and approval processes.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design & Production

  • Create, adapt, and localize digital creative assets for eFootball marketing campaigns, social media, web advertising, partner activations, and regional initiatives across the Americas.
  • Support the production of static assets, short-form videos, social media creatives, web banners, presentation materials, in-game capture assets, and other digital deliverables.
  • Assist with layout, resizing, formatting, retouching, versioning, and basic motion/video editing as needed.
  • Develop creative materials both from scratch and from existing global, regional, agency, or partner-provided assets.
  • Translate creative direction from the Brand Team and internal stakeholders into clear, polished, and brand-aligned visual executions.
  • Support in-game capture and game-related asset production when materials, footage, or builds are available.
  • Review creative materials to ensure consistency with KONAMI brand standards, eFootball visual identity, campaign objectives, and regional marketing needs.
  • Work with agencies, designers, and internal stakeholders to refine creative materials based on feedback from HQ, licensors, and internal reviewers.

Creative Workflow & Approval Coordination

  • Coordinate creative asset workflows from briefing through production, internal review, HQ review, licensor approval, final delivery, and archiving.
  • Prepare and submit creative materials for approval to the Brand Team, licensors, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Manage creative asset workflows from briefing through final approval, including routing reviews, tracking revisions, maintaining version control, and archiving approved materials.
  • Clearly communicate feedback and revision requests to agencies, designers, and internal teams.
  • Organize and circulate proofs, mockups, renders, screenshots, videos, and other creative materials in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to keep approvals moving and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain clear records of comments, changes, approvals, and final approved assets.

Asset Management & Quality Control

  • Organize creative files, source assets, final deliverables, reference materials, approval records, copy documents, and supporting information in shared databases or cloud-based storage systems.
  • Apply consistent naming conventions, folder structures, version control, and archiving practices so assets can be easily located and reused.
  • Review assets for accuracy, including logos, text, player references, club references, formats, dimensions, templates, and required disclaimers.
  • Help ensure materials comply with internal guidelines, licensor requirements, first-party platform standards, and rating agency requirements.
  • Identify potential issues before submission, including outdated assets, incorrect logos, copy errors, missing approvals, format problems, or brand inconsistencies.
  • Support the team in maintaining a clean, reliable, and accessible creative asset library.

Cross-Functional Communication

  • Work closely with the eFootball Americas team and the Brand Team in Japan.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, licensors, regional stakeholders, and internal KONAMI teams.
  • Help bridge creative expectations between global brand direction and regional marketing needs.
  • Support communication across different languages and markets when applicable.
  • Provide context and explanations when submitting creative materials for review or approval.
  • Support additional creative, marketing, and operational tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in graphic design, digital design, creative production, marketing design, social media creative, video editing, agency creative work, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on design skills across digital, social, marketing, or entertainment-related creative work.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, and/or Acrobat.
  • Ability to create assets from scratch and adapt existing creative materials into new formats, markets, or campaign needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple creative projects, deadlines, feedback rounds, and approval workflows at the same time.
  • Strong understanding of digital and social media creative formats.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing logos, copy, dimensions, file formats, version numbers, and approval requirements.
  • Ability to interpret creative direction and apply brand guidelines accurately.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with international stakeholders.
  • Experience working across global teams and managing feedback from multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, multicultural environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with collaboration and project management tools such as Slack, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Monday.com, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with digital asset management systems, approval tracking tools, and creative workflow platforms is highly preferred.
  • High sense of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive business, marketing, licensor, and partner information.
  • Interest in gaming, football/soccer, sports marketing, digital content, or entertainment is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating digital design, social media creative, campaign assets, motion graphics, video editing, gaming, sports, or entertainment-related work.
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns for games, sports, entertainment, consumer brands, or digital products.
  • Experience working with international teams or global brand guidelines.
  • Experience coordinating creative approvals with licensors, partners, agencies, or brand teams.
  • Experience with in-game capture, gameplay footage, game builds, or game-related marketing assets.
  • Understanding of football/soccer culture across the Americas.

Language Skills

  • Required: English.
  • Strongly preferred: Portuguese.
  • Highly valuable: Japanese.
  • Plus: Spanish.

Because this role will support regional initiatives across the Americas and frequent coordination with Japan, Portuguese and Japanese language skills are especially valuable. However, strong design ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a global approval environment are the most important requirements.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience in design, creative production, marketing design, or agency-side creative work will also be considered.

Contractor Note

This is a contractor position. The role will support eFootball-related creative and marketing initiatives in collaboration with KONAMI internal teams, HQ stakeholders, external agencies, licensors, and partners.

This assignment may require flexibility based on campaign schedules, live-service content timing, and regional production deadlines.
