What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Staff position at Kona Beachside?
Kona Beachside is an outdoor & seasonal, beach front snack bar, restaurant and bar. We are in the middle of our season now and are looking to add a member to our team. We expect to be open until around Labor Day weekend. We are weather dependent; open from approximately 11am to 8pm 7 days/week.
Your duties: food prep, operating the grill & fryolator, food expo, dishwashing, scooping ice cream, etc. And potentially taking orders at the front counter.
*All kitchen staff split all tips from the food ordering window and a portion from bartenders.
Base pay starts at $15/hr and a guarantee of at least $19/hr after tips, but most days it should be above $22/hr and up to the low $30s. This is negotiable depending on experience.
