We’re looking for a reliable, detail-driven Public Area Attendant who takes pride in creating clean, safe, and beautifully maintained spaces throughout the hotel.
What You’ll Do
As a Public Area Attendant, you’ll help ensure all shared spaces remain spotless, welcoming, and ready for guests at all times. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, and other public spaces
- Replenishing restroom supplies, lobby amenities, and other guest-facing items throughout the shift
- Responding quickly to spills, trash removal needs, and guest service requests
- Monitoring and reporting maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment concerns
- Assisting with deep-cleaning projects, floor care, and seasonal cleaning tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of supply closets, carts, and equipment
- Following all safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures
- Supporting the housekeeping team with additional tasks as needed
What You Bring
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred (hotel or commercial setting ideal)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused attitude
- Physical ability to bend, lift, push carts, and stand or walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
