Opportunity

To meet the growing need for water filtration and stormwater runoff pollutant removal, our dedicated AquaShield team of engineers, design and create integrated product solutions that exceed the water quality standards expected in today’s rapidly evolving stormwater community. Through use of proprietary custom, and retrofit applications, we deliver LEED accredited lightweight and durable modular units that provide green infrastructure and best in class products via Aqua-Swirl, Aqua-Filter, and Aqua-Ponic products.

The Regulatory Manager will support the commercial growth of its stormwater treatment technologies by aligning regulatory strategy, product development support, and market adoption. This role works closely with Research and Development (R&D), Engineering, and Sales to help ensure products meet evolving regulatory requirements, achieve necessary approvals, and are effectively positioned across target markets and jurisdictions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret industry trends as well as stormwater regulatory requirements across sales regions and target markets
  • Provide regulatory intelligence and market insight to support product positioning and commercial growth
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering to align new product development with market needs and regulatory requirements
  • Support development of in-house and third-party testing strategies needed for product verification, certification, and approval
  • Prepare, coordinate, and track regulatory submissions across municipalities, agencies, and certification programs
  • Provide project, municipality, and jurisdiction specific support to sales teams to address regulatory and technical questions
  • Identify and communicate product advantages, limitations, and competitive considerations within different regulatory environments
  • Assist in development of technical and educational materials which include white papers, conference abstracts, webinars, website content, specifications, and technical manuals
  • Represent Komline-AquaShield professionally through participation in industry organizations, conferences, and regulatory forums

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of regulatory experience in stormwater management or water and process industries
  • Experience in stormwater management, water quality treatment technologies, environmental permitting, or related regulatory fields
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, testing protocols, and product approval processes
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance for product development and sales teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with engineered stormwater treatment products or manufactured BMPs.
  • Ability to support both strategic planning and project-specific problem solving.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple approvals, deadlines, and stakeholders.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
