Key Job Responsibilities
- Act as the product-facing lead for customer enablement of the Mine Platform.
- Translate customer operational needs into product requirements and roadmap inputs.
- Partner with engineering to prioritize features that improve deployability, security, and operational resilience.
- Support go-to-market strategies for new platform capabilities.
- Develop deployment standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
- Lead technical onboarding and enablement for new platform deployments.
- Serve as the trusted advisor to customers on secure architecture and operational best practices.
- Guide customers through networking, security, and Kubernetes-based platform integrations.
- Develop training materials, playbooks, and documentation.
- Conduct on-site and remote workshops to ensure successful adoption.
- Define secure-by-design deployment patterns for edge and cloud-connected mining environments.
- Oversee secure configuration of networking, access control, identity management, and data flows.
- Ensure platform compliance with enterprise security and operational standards.
- Support troubleshooting of complex deployment and integration challenges.
- Work closely with:
- Engineering (platform, DevOps, security)
- IT and cybersecurity teams
- Sales and customer success
- Field service and operations teams
- Provide structured feedback loops from field deployments into product improvements.
- Strong understanding of:
- Enterprise and industrial networking (LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs)
- OT/IT integration in industrial environments
- Cybersecurity principles (zero trust, IAM, encryption, PKI, network segmentation)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Kubernetes (cluster architecture, deployments, Helm, operators)
- Containerized workloads and orchestration
- Secure cloud and hybrid architectures (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) – preferred
- Experience with:
- Secure operations in regulated or critical infrastructure environments
- Observability, monitoring, and logging frameworks
- CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps principles
- Proven ability to:
- Translate customer requirements into product features.
- Define roadmaps and prioritize backlog.
- Write clear product requirements and technical documentation.
- Experience working with agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Demonstrated experience leading technical engagements with enterprise or industrial customers.
- 5 years in a technical role such as IT, technical product ownership, or technical customer enablement roles.
- Strong ability to build trust with technical and operational stakeholders.
- Confident presenting to both executive and technical audiences.
- Ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
- Systems-level thinking across networking, platform architecture, and operations.
- Ability to balance short-term customer needs with long-term product strategy.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Skilled at aligning engineering and customer expectations.
- Capable of diagnosing complex, multi-layer technical issues.
- Comfortable working in remote, field, and enterprise environments.
- Mining, heavy industry, industrial automation, or IIoT environments.
